This was actually last weeks Sat morning Sept 2. I was on my way home from picking up breakfast just b4 going 2 Las Vegas. I was on Tatum & Greenway sitting at the light waiting for it to turn green. A mustang that had been lowered & had an exhaust on it turned from Grenway onto Tatum & started to head north. I was like hurry up light, hurry up light, hurry up light...... Well after an eternity, the light turned green & I trounced on the gas to see if I could catch up to the mustang. He was pretty far ahead of me, but I saw that he had hit the next red light. Woo-hoo, I caught him at the light. As I pulled up to the light to stop I goosed the gas & smoked the tires a little. I saw that he had #'s written on his window, which means he had been @ the track the night before. He looked at mean & smiled, I knew it was on. As the light turned green with both floored it, OOPS I gave it WAY too much gas & the rear tires went up in smoke (& I mean A LOT of smoke, after I had hooked up I peeked back at the intersection & there was a HUGE cloud of smoke) anyways, all through 1st gear there was NOTHIN but spinning the rear tires until I spun into second, by that time he had pulled 1/2 a car length on me, CRAP I thought, but as I hooked up I shot right past him like he was a yugo (really, I didnt expect to go by so fast) by the time I hit third he was about 2 car lenghts back & I let up. Man I wish I hadnt had smoke the tires sooooo bad, I would have really beatin' his a$$!!! Anyways we tried it @ one more light, after we had started to roll (10-15mph) & I just walked his a$$, by the time I had hit 30mph there was enough room to pull infront of him (I had too, there were cars in my lane) & I just walked away from him -again-. Anyways he turned around at the next exit! HEHE, chalk up another kill for me.
