Cool

Hey Mike,
How's it sound? Is it really loud or is it just that nice deep sound but not so loud that you can't hear the stereo?

What do the headers really do? Without the headers would it sound that much different?

And, if you don;t mind my asking, what did it cost to install the exhaust system?

Thanks
k

Does anyone have any pictures of the dual Flowmaster setup some of you are running? I think thats going to be my next mod along with a Pro-M 80 setup.

Kobiashi,

Sound is great, deep but not overwhelming. But loud enough to probably make most people decide not to mess with you (don't know if thats good or bad).

I don't think headers do much but I think they help it sound even deeper.

Cat-back exhaust was expensive for me because of R&D time but shouldn't be so bad for the next guy.

Question

Brimstone,
Truck looks real nice but one question what is the overall benefit of two flows mounted like that. I have one dual inlet single outlet delta flow 40 series and it sounds real good.------steve

Looks like a nice setup. I'm still debating on dual or single mufflers. Seems like a large single should handle most any street application.

Brimstone, that is exactly what I am looking for. Did you use flowmaster or Dynomax, you have pictures of both. What type of cat-back did you use? About how much was the system? Thanks, Jeff

Red Racer,
I saw your last post regarding a single or dual muffler setup. From what has been said on this board a single dual in dual out muffler cannot handle the flow and makes a funny noise at WOT. Here is the post: https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/003358.html

BRIMSTONE

I would love to hear your Flowmasters. Is there a time we might hook up for a couple minutes?

If so, where, when, etc.

BRIMSTONE,

Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna consider dual flowmasters but sans headers. Thanks again.

Jeff,

The Dynomax mufflers looked cool but they had a higher pitch sound when I tried them. If you click on the pics in the photo album there is a description of everything.
