There is also a method to trace the build status of your L. Using the number assigned by the dealer, you can track when it is booked and scheduled to be built. Someone on the list had a way to get into the system last year but can't remember who it was.

Burlington Northerns Rail Network is ONLY from Chicago West and South. http://www.bnsf.com/about_bnsf/html/division_maps.html

The Lightnings actually Start from Plant in Markham Canada on Norfolk and Southern and then transition to Union Pacific to come to Texas http://www.nscorp.com/open/qtrak/qtrak.htm

Burlingtons System looks like it picks up the Western part of North America...

I can provide more tracking details if you email me.....

Post Trace Delivery of your new Lightning

If you have ordered a new vehicle and finally received your specific VIN # from the dealer, your vehicle should be enroute from the factory.

To check on the process of the transportation , if shipped by rail from the factory, use the attached site to see when the vehicle was loaded and exactly when it will arrive.

All you have to do is input the last 8 digits of your VIN, click on VIN then trace...

Try this site and let me know what you think!
It will work on any vehicle transported by rail.......... http://www.bnsf.com/cws/tracing/

If there is no record, the vehicle is not on the rail yet or has been delivered.

HAPPY TRACING
