hey all
I want to install new heads on my 02 L
what brand would be the best to install on my stock block?
just want to change them out so I dont have to worry about blowing a plug
also would the factory heads with 40k miles be worth anything to another L owner and how much would be a fair price?
also where can I find a great price on accel coil packs and what spark plugs would be a good match to go with these

You could always pull your heads and send them off somewhere to be ported and have 8 thread inserts installed. That may be the cheapest route. If you must have new heads, JDM's seem to be the best out there... But that's open for debate. I went with the LFP Stage II Heads. They're Patriot heads and are ported and have larger valves. They also have .612 valve springs and 8 thread inserts. I think I paid somewhere around $1300 shipped. I'm very happy with these heads.

i didnt know i could pull the heads and have new threads tapped into them
has anyone else done this and if so how has it worked out?
whats the cost from a excellant shop to do this
also would they be of any value to anothe L owner if I choose to go with new ones?
And if I pull off my stock charger and installed a whipple would this be of any value to a L owner
