i live and run a lightning here in England,
I have run my L against a seriously modified cosworth Escort. 400hp+ on the 1/4 mile and won!
The trouble with these little go -karts is that they are front wheel drive and have big traction problems, although he still got off the mark quicker than me, they lack torque, so 1/2 way down the strip it was bye bye!!

Ford have a puma cosworth that is under raps and I think that will be a quick vehicle.
