How do you burp the intercooler system?

How do you burp the intercooler system?

Mine has a huge air bubble in it.

squeeze the top hose going into the i/c tank while the system is running. you can watch it from the side to see it working.

start your engine and let it run. the IC tank is also a degasser tank.

Simply running the pump will purge all air out of it within a minute.

That's no tpossible unless there is something blocking one of the lines.
You mean like a air pocket?

Sometimes the system will get air trapped in it. If you can use a rag and your hand to form a seal along with shot of compressed air into the filler hole while the engine is running. That usually does the trick and forces the fluid down and into the pump and subsequently back through the system.

Just jump out the IC pump and do as above. Works like a charm.

Same thing I was told on another board and it worked. System runs fine now.

I found once doing the above I was able to open the valve on the bottom of the H/E and let the air out. Once the water ran solid I closed the valve and then topped off the overflow tank.
