Post Lightning vs. Harley............ Comfort issue

I had a chance to sit in a Harley Davidson edition F150 with teh leather seats adn I feel in love. Do the Lightning seats even COMPARE to the Harleys.

The Lightning seats are abit (not much) firmer and more supportive then the harley.
So yes they compare.
I perfer the firmer more supportive seat of the lightning, but can under how other may perfer the Harley seats.

I know, that wasn't much help, but hey.

More supportive is fine, but are they still REALLY comfortable. I just love leather and teh Lightning seats are not so Im just wondering if they are comfortable (not lazyboy but close)

Thumbs up

Some of the board members have complained about the side bolstering being too much and putting pressure on their sides (kidneys) and causing other pains. Personally, however, I have made a couple of 13-14 hour non-stop trips (only stopping for 5 minute fill-ups) and never once had any pains or problems. I find the seats to be comfortable around town, but firm enough to hold you in place when you are really tearing it up on the backroads. They aren't LazyBoy plush by any means, but they do what they are supposed to do and they do it well.

I agree with DUCK on this one. After driving to Ohio and back in a weekend (From Louisiana), the only complaint I had was the steering wheel being off center. Had that fixed the day after getting home.

The seats are VERY comfortable and great looking, IMO.

The Harley trucks have sweet looking interiors and look to be very comfortable too.

So, I guess I've not added much value here either. They're both great!

Having not sat in the Harley I really can't comment on its seats,BUT I can say I had a Durango prior to my L and it was the "SLT" edition w/ leather seats and it was super comfortable. But my L is even more comfortable than the D was. I haven't made a "long" trip in it in my Bolt, but I'd be willing to wager it would one comfy ride.

Just find an L and have seat in it,thats the easiest way to find out. Just don't test drive it! You may find that you'll need surgically removed from that ultra-comfy seat!

LSChicago,
Go to www.copartfinder.com and look to see if there are any lightnings near your area and see if you can get some seats from on of those.
