Cal-tracs?
Yes, I read the faq. Now that you have had them on for a month how do you like yours, Chuck? Do you find that they compromise the street handling in any way? Do you know if Calvert has incorporated the changes you suggested in their latest kits? I e-mailed them yesterday but they have not replied. Brimstone, did you get yours installed? How are they working out? I feel sure that properly adjusted they have to help you hook up better, but I am concerned that their may be a corresponding loss in handling. Nathan, I know you were thinking of installing them but as an autocrosser had the same concerns that I do. Did you install a set?

Cal-Tracs working out great for me. They are adjustable so you can back them off for street driving. If you don't you will be in for a very bumpy ride and it doesn't feel like it's very good for the drivetrain. I have the correct rod lengths on my truck, I still have to send them back the ones that were too short. I had said I would measure the correct length before but never got around to it, I will get to it this weekend.

Well, dang, I am still in a quandry. Calvert did not reply to my e-mail, and I tried calling him this morning and all I got was the voice mail. I was thinking of driving over there today and having them do the install, but on second thought, if you have to back them off on the street of what use are they? I don't plan to do much drag racing, except to test and tune and find out what this thing is capable of. I want to hook up on the street, but if the bars are backed off I don't see that they would be of any help there. I am a lot more interested in autocross than drag racing so I think I will just forget the Cal-tracs.
