Question The A Plan vs The X Plan

Could someone please explain the difference between the A Plan and the X Plan. I have heard of both, and am yet to hear what they contain.I would like to know what the differences in these two plans are. Also,is it the dealerships choice to offer these plans or not.I heard that X Plan is 4% over invoice. Is this correct? I have not heard anything on the A Plan. Thanks for any help that can be offered.

A plan is for active FORD employees and some of their family members. Z plan is for retirees. X plan is for employees of companies that are suppliers of either goods or services to Ford.

A/Z Plan has a box on the factory invoice that indicates the exact selling price under these plans. If I remember correctly, the X plan is 4% over the A/Z plan.

It is the dealers choice whether to sell or not under the plans. On most vehicles, no problem. On vehicles with a limited allocation, it can be a problem.

Ford sales is right, A for employees, Z for retirees, X for suppliers. Also, salaried employees can "give away" an x plan, and in Feb hourly employees will be allowed to give away I think 1 X Plan per model year.
A plan is about 2% less than dealer cost, X is I think 4% higher.

"Give away"??? My brother works for Ford and he gets 4 A-plan uses a year, and any immediate family member can use them.
