Cool

The intercooler is 2 parts one in the front near radiator and the other MUST be in the airstream before the intake. Works just like your AC at home the outside unit ( the unit in the grill) removes heat from a coolant solution and the inside unit ( the part in the intake stream ) cools the Inside ( incoming ) air charge.

There is lots of info about intercoolers and the science behind them on the web. Many links are here - Use the search...

In this pic the item in the middle is the intercooler (the part that sits in the intake stream). The supercharger mounts on top of it (also seen above it in the pic). The intercooler radiator is in the lower grille section below the main radiator grill as seen in the second picture.

I've seen this pic before and I must say it is the best looking Lightning I have ever seen. Cervini hood? What model?
Headlights? Where can I get them? That is one bad Bolt.

The pictured lightning belongs to Steve Hargrove (Zoomer). The hood isnt cervinis. It is Reflexxion and has a lower, more curved profile. I do know that it's a steel hood, and kind of heavy. Does look pretty badass though. The headlights are clear covers painted black inside. Steve, if you're still on the board, I'd be curious about exactly how much that hood weighs.

Hey i have those same headlight covers they look awesome. Am pretty sure they are made from EGR, i order them at a local shop well they are here and in NYC. They get alot of attention some people think thats the actual headlight mount.
