6# or 4# w/2.8 upper

2.8 and 4# or 6# ....truck is my daily driver but would like more kitp. i would like to change the parameters on the predator tune but dont know how it would affect the truck. i would like my shift points to be lower and i remember reading about -10% +10 % on something dealing with the performance tune that comes with the predator. but have no clue..

mods are as follows:

air raid intake
ngk tr6
bassani bx midpipes
bassani bx catback
predator "generic" performance tune
jlp 4"drop shackles

thanks for the info. How much of a power difference did it make going from stock to 4# to 6#?

go with the 6lb'er. Just make sure you get a good dyno tune

I can't really compare apples to apples, I was running 106-107mph in the 1/4 with a custom mail tune, 4lber and ported blower(417/498 SAE). Then I got the 6lber and a dyno tune and now running 108-109mph(425/526 SAE).
Dyno runs were on Dynojets but at different places...

I didn't want to mess with the upper, having to get a puller and risk damaging the snout...
