If you are in or near So. Calif. and looking to purchase a new L, two new 2000's just arrived: a black, white and a silver landing soon.
I know they will go for MSRP. If you are interested, e-mail me and I'll get back to you with your contact info.

I bought my L the day Manhattan Ford closed down. Which is the only reason I bought ANYTHING from them. They had two black Ls after the one I bought that were being transferred to Peyton Cramer in Torrance. This was six weeks ago, but all three had been there for months.
Of the two, one went to Peyton and the other to Huntington Beach Ford which has been sold. All three dealerships are owned by AutoNation of which I worked for three years until I quite three months ago to take a sabbitical and do nothing but think about mods that can be added to my L.
Red Racer
A 2000 L that caught on fire was towed into Huntington Beach Ford a couple days ago.
The new black L was parked at the place of work of the owner. There was a power surged which started a fire at the disc changer. The windows were yellow from the smoke, the passenger seat destroyed and if there wasn’t some kind of rubber seal between the cab and bed, it would have exploded.
Ford Motor came out to H.B. Ford along with the sad L owner to investigate. Ford Motor ended up giving the L owner a new red L.
