Well I was on my way home from work yesterday and I saw a white 2004 L at enfield ford. I stopped there and took it for a drive, next thing you know im filling out papers. So now I have a 2001 black and a 2004 white. The 2004 has 2000 miles on it and is in mint condition. It is stock besides a program and exhaust. they were asking 29,000 firm for it. I went back there with 23,000 cash and they took it. Now I have to start all over again with mods. Is there any major differences between the 2001 and 2004 L, besides the badges and door handles?

Wheels of course. More threads in the heads for spark plugs. Third brake light is l.e.d., and grilles are different I think. More leafs in the rear suspension/increased payload, sits higher in the back too.

 

Man, you drive a hard bargain. If they took 23k that means they must've REALLY hosed the previous owner- ouch!

And talk about scoring a nice, new truck. that's one hell of a deal. Hope you enjoy it!

 

thanks lumadar, The only thing is that the truck has blue shelby cobra stripes on it. I will def peel them off. And it has an f150 logo above the lightning one.

In Canada, the 04 lightning has a wholesale value at $30,000. with around 20,000 miles.

How did you know Agent, did you see it out front? The white L looks so much better than my black one. But also so much slower than the black one. For now that is.

 

I saw it on the internet I think. They had a dark shadow grey too but it had like 30+K on it. Are you the guy with the escalade too?

Yeah...I live in meriden. I have a white 01. I thought your name sounded familiar. I ran into you on the pike one afternoon. Were supposed to have an L get together this weekend I think in milford at hooters.

 

Ohhhh, I remember you. Let me know about the L meeting. I will have to take the black 01 becuase the white one is not registered yet. Plus it is way to stock to drive in public. Where abouts in Meriden do you live?
