Not a problem 2000L. Don’t believe the BS in the news, the vast majority of Americans are grateful of the sacrifices our armed forces have been making since the birth of this great nation.

Although I did not serve myself I do have a great respect for our servicemen. My sister is a retired Marine MP and my father served in Vietnam for two tours as a Marine, he fought at Que Sahn.

God bless all the young men and women of our military who have given so much for the freedom we enjoy.

You must not be listening!

I have never seen so much support for our troops as I see now. Even the anti-war activists are making sure to thank the troops for their service. I guess we learned some things from Vietnam.

And it is universally recognized that we now have the best trained, most professional men and women in uniform that we have ever had. Every time I see footage of the troops in Iraq, I'm proud to be an American. The troops conduct themselves with dignity and compassion.

Thanks to all serving here and abroad.

Thanks for the "thanks". Would do it all over again

If they called me back up. One look at President George Washington kneeling in the snow at Valley Forge, in prayer pretty much sums it up for me. This country was founded by great men and women who came here for freedom and religious freedom. And we would be remiss if we did not try to help others obtain even a little bit of what we all take for granted. The Constitution was an inspired document; many of the great fathers that helped draft it have said they knew that there was a higher power helping them to set up what ultimately was the most perfect set of laws with freedoms to ever exist.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all those good men and women who gave their lives and left their families at home so that we could all enjoy what we have today. DanF USAF 1967-1973

“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”. These words from the late President Kennedy echo still today. I offer without hestitation the one true gift I have to offer my Country…my life. I truly belive that we...as a nation stand ready today, as we did more than half a century ago, to protect American values at home and abroad.

Moreover, we stand ready to let every nation know, whether it wishes us harm or success, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge--and more.

To all my brethern who serve with me and before me....thank you. We...as a nation...are truly blessed

Al....in the Air Force here. We met at the WingHouse in Clearwater when you came down this way. Am proud to serve with and follow in the foot steps of folks like yourself. Thank you for your service.

I knew a few SeaBees when I was in Guam. Good folks.
