I like em',in fact I have two sets. One unpainted(same color as the bumper and other trim), and a painted set.I wasn't sure how the paint would hold up so the unpainted ones are on there now. So how is the paint holding up?

carparts.com shows a # of 1532 for the flareside thru 00, for the "originals" rear covers. same # as the trucktoyz link, but theirs shows for 97-98 flareside

hey gents,
I've had painted (black) slotted covers on my '99 since the week I bought it. They still look like new.

I had Lund smoke taillight covers. I didn't want the ones pictured above because thats what I see on regular F150s, not that thats bad, its just I want people to know what they are looking at.

BTW, not one week after I put them on, some #$%ho# took the left one. Not both, just the left one. I am going to paint the taillight, as someone's suggested.

Jim,
What's the part number they gave you? Their web site only shows flairside '97-'98.

Oops, "VT1532" duh, should have read the whole thing, too quick on the reply button. Why can't we delete our own messages (read: screwups)?

Hitman31 - Mine were painted and put on back in May. The paint seems to be holding up fine in the hot Florida sun.

MRBBQMAN - I don't have a part number. When I bought the bedrug and other toys they were hanging on the wall and I just pointed and said I want um. If you can't find them let me know and I can stop by the shop and get the part # and manufacturer. It will probably be next week some time before I can find out.
