Post for those who have used a DUSTER on the L

I was told by a wax/polish manufacturer to use a California Duster on the L daily to keep it looking clean.

Has and one ever used one? They cost around $25. I have seen dusters at AutoZone, etc. for about $9.00 What is the difference between them for the cost variance??

when your drive way is dirt and 1/2 a mile long you really appreciate a feather duster. takes only a few minutes to do the whole truck and keep from having to wash it so often.get the smaller one for a harley or other makes of bikes.but remember,it only gets dust off not mud.

Jim,

I'd say it's worth the $25. I've been using one of the $25 variety for several years on my Stang. They work extremely well on picking up the dust without and scratching, etc to the vehicle. Works just like a dust magnet. Wave it over the vehicle and the dust disappears. Works well on the interior as well. If I remember correctly, it has something to do with how it is coated. The dirtier it gets the better it works. It's worth the investment, IMHO.

Have never used the $9 type, so unfortunately can't compare.

James

Jim. Calif Duster is the only way to go. Does great job --- No trouble with scratching --- A must have item. To sizes -- get both -One for the dash (Small) and one for outside (large)

Good luck DonH

Get one. They're great. Just don't let it come to a stop on hot sheet metal. The wax coating melts onto your Zaino. You just buff it out, but hey, if you can avoid it...

Get both sizes....The small one is great for the dash, instrument cluster and door panels.

Cool

Hey Jim I got mine from Summit Racing. Bought the "house" brand, while I don't remember the cost, it was inexpensive. Got the large and small one. It does work great and I use the small one the dash and it also works great getting the dust off the tv screen and computer monitor. Go to SummitRacing.com

I saw them advertised for $25. After reading a lot of the re-plys, went to Wal Mart for $9.95. So far, I agree with everyone. It is well worth it.
