Nitrous Question

i noticed most have mounted the spray nozzle downstream of the MAF sensor. this way the sensor will not be sprayed. i mounted my (dry) nozzle in the metal tube supplied with my PSP filter. it is upstream of the MAF and the MAF does get sprayed with nitrous. i did not want to drill a hole in any OEM part, so i could simply replace my airbox when my intercooler gives me the call. my question is: am i damaging the sensor, and should i buy a spare OEM part to drill and relocate it

I would not put it in front of the MAF sensor, but that's just my personal preference/opinion.
The nitrous we can buy contains sulfur which is obviously a contaminant. I would figure over the long run this will at least mean you have to clean the sensor more often than usual (which isn't very often at all in normal cases). Worst case is that, yes it would damage the sensor.
On my Cobra I have my nitrous jet placed in the plastic inlet tube right in front of the TB. I then got an extra OEM part to throw on there...just in case.
Now, I haven't really checked the plastic/rubber inlet tubing on the L. It may be a lot more flimsy than the '96-98 Cobra one. Mine is mounted where its very solid and will not come loose. I didn't want to drill into the TB, either.
