Question Aftermarket shocks

Hey guys,

Those of you who've replaced your stock shocks, what has worked well? I'm going to be lowering the truck within the near future with front springs and rear hangers (2" all the way around).

Just wondering if now is the best time to go ahead with a different shock...although I figure the stock L shocks are of the "performance" variety.

Thoughts?

To be honest with you....these stock shocks are probably the best set of shocks that I have had on a vehicle IMHO of course. They are nicely balanced. I was looking at the new Edelbrock units that are supposed to be coming out. However, I am not sure when. I would love to get a set of Koni shocks on this truck but I am having a hard time finding the right part number. The Koni website hasn't been much help either.

Oh well....I have lots of patience for this anyways.
