NEW Lightning Interior... *PICS*

Well just about complete for the interior project I had, getting rid of the stock green lighting. Installed the JL 500/1 Amp racked between the seats, 2 mtx 10's with thunderform (thanks to Rich *hostile03svt*)

kept the lunar gauges so the stock face plates match something

overall i am very happy. also installed these aftermarket fogs, and you might not be able to tell from the picture, but the headlights are silvania silverstars and these fogs crush them in terms of brightness

comments/opinions?

Looks good, which foglights are those? looks like you could cook with them(hopefully not the bumper).

That interior looks great! Now if only you added some autometer c2's and a blue el cluster from speedhut it would be perfect. Btw How hard was the modification and how'd you do yours?

Thanks Rich, im loving the interior, if you ever want to do it I'd be glad to pretty much do it for you if you have an entire day to waste.

Thanks. I didnt put the C2's in because i wanted the gauges all to match, and I opted not to get the cluster from speedhut due to reading everyones post's who got them and being very unhappy with the fitting.

The modification is VERY time confuming, get ready to do alot of fabricating, drilling, glueing, soldering most of all. Alot of experimenting but overall im happy with the turn out.

thats exactly the look i want from my dash lights. Did you just wire in blue leds? or did you buy a kit etc? Any info, or more pics would be awesome. As i understand it, there is a green layer of film behind the panels. I assume you removed that when you replaced the lights?

Thanks,
-Patrick

I wired in blue LED's for everything. The A/C controls, once you take it all apart you will notice a thin plastic see-through sheet, its green on the right and left, and white in the middle, so i cut the green off both sides and glued the white back in place for the TEMP control. It all shines through blue.

Im still thinking of wiring some white LED's for the ***** themselves, so they stand out. would also match the LIGHTNING emblem.

I think my **** actually have a seperate green thing inside them. Ive got a strand of cut up christmas light leds, will these work? I just dont want to catch my truck on fire.

Also how did you mount your leds, just slide them in the stock bulb housing? Make any provisions to keep from moving around?

Thanks,
-Patrick
