Tomorrow JL meal deal
Can't wait tomorrow before noon the mail man will be bringing me my JohhnyLightning Chip, filter, and Ram Air Kit. In one hour I will go from stock to one flippin fast L. I'll keep everyone posted how it goes. I am so excited! is it noon yet? where is the best place to get a ram air hood?

I too am waiting the mail man as my jl kit is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I am going to wait after a trip to the track next week before having my r-7 turned to a jl program. Do you have 2000 or 99? I just had installed a level 10 shift kit, it rocks rubber in 2nd everytime at wot, smooth easy shift at partial throttle. Well worth the $250 with install charges. Spiro: If it takes anyone 2 hours of install it will probably take me 4 with my 10 thumbs and all.
Droid: done deal. I'll keep you posted. Is your name Andy? I got an email from JL this morning that was supossed to be for you. Where did you get the lvl 10 kit from? post info. do you think it's worth it even with the chip already? I have a 2000. best of luck at the tract.

Yes I am Andy. I bought the shift kit direct from pat at level ten. There was a post maybe in the faQ about how he does some extra mods when he installs them at his shop so I called him and he directed my tranny guys on exactly what to do. I love it so far on the street, but we'll see if the et's improve. What year is your truck?
