Post about the faq, reply by choice

Let me start off by saying that I can appreciate the amount of time that went into making the FAQ section and I think you post some very helpful things, especially the group buys. Now I'm probably going to take some heat for this, but what gives anybody the right to flame some one for asking a question that may have been asked before? Now I understand that some things don't change and for those things the FAQ section is great, some one could use it to find say wheel bolt spacing or another constant. I would not pick up last weeks paper and look at the extended weather forcast to see what the weather is supposed to be today, I want to know the latest news. Things are always changing in the truck world and last weeks way of doing something may be way out dated. I would rather read replies to an previously asked question than read a funny about Texans, not that I have anything against jokes but if you want to complain about wasted board space think about which of the 2 topics is truck related. There are some threads that I never open because they dont intrest me and I have that choice. You are trying to kill out what does intrest me and I hope many others. If you flame people everytime they want to talk about a previous subject they will probably quit asking and we might not find out something very cool or helpful, or etc... Then we'll just have a bunch of threads about lastest kills, tickets, etc... Again, not that there is anything wrong with that, but you have a choice also, if you see a previously asked you don't have to open it, much less respond, if you don't want to but allow others the same freedom of choice. Let me finish by saying that I appreciate what you have done and I haven't meant to attack anyone out there, I just want to able to read things that intrest me also.

did you check the FAQ?
There is a section on commenting on the FAQ posts.

I am some what in agreement.

Talking

The reason we did the FAQ was to stop the repetitive questions for the the things that don't change. We(I) flame people who don't even look at the FAQ and just post like "Hey I just bought an L, "Is there a chip for this truck?" etc, etc, etc...If they look at the FAQ first and don't see what they want then Post, "Hey guys, looked at the FAQ but I still have a question?" No problemo. Besides it's my right under the Constitution--Freedom of Speech. (and I for one will continue to do it)

You asked a number of questions. Did you happen to check with our FAQ's first?

yes i have checked it out and i'm not putting it down, i think you guys did a great job. i do also understand that there are some people that are going to ask some dumb qestions without checking it out but you are going to get those people in life no matter what. i try to post only when i have something that i feel is beneficial, but i monitor the board daily, and i really like seeing tech questions being asked and the replys they get. some are repetitive but you never know when some one comes up with a new idea.
