I have 2 40 series flowmasters,high flow cats,airaid and an R7 superchip on a 2000 lightning. Best run of six 13.858 at 98.69 mph. 2.065 60ft. Weather was 85 deg. and atleast 80% humidity. I am slightly disappointed in the times but it was my first time ever on a track maybe it will be better next week. I am having a level 10 shift kit put in friday along with a johnny lightning ram air and 2" drop shackles in the rear. Then I will be back at the track next wed.

 

Thats is a good 1/4 mile time for a first time at the track. Im sure it will improve with some practice. Good Luck!

Were did you run Milan? How do you like the high flow cats? Did you have them done the same time you did your Flow masters? If not did it make your L alot louder? Good job for your first time, How was you R/T? What was your worst run? Was your tail gate on? Spare tire?

Hi Droidlight,

We just sent off your replacement documentation, and in that you will see a separate sheet for drag racing tips in these Lightnings. When you get it, take a few minutes to read it thoroughly, as you will be able to improve your ET with some of that information. We go over staging techniques, etc. Some of that info you may already know, but it's worth a read anyway.

The 1/4 mile times on these vehicles can vary quite a bit, based on just how strong each individual Lightning is, in addition to technique, which is why we see some run down into the high 12's, and some in the high 13's.

And of course, feel free to give us a call if you want to go over that info, too.
