Post Beat way to launch

i have only run my new "L" in the 1/8 and i have tried diff launch styles. my best was a 9.21 at 78mph. if anyone has any advice id like to hear .

I put 3 sandbags in the bed. Its Line-Xed, so it won't scratch. I met another Lightning owner up here, and beat him pretty bad from the start.

Sandbags may increase weight a lot, but you gain more from sandbags and the extra weight, than nothing at all. Especially in the 1/8 mile.
I ran a 8.789@82.45 with only straight pipes, 3 sandbags, and a type R spare.
