? on PCV system
? on PCV system
I just moved to California and reside on an Air Force base. They are making me get my 2000 Lightning smogged to get base decals. I was wondering if anyone could help me change my PCV system back to stock. I currently have two breathers on my valve covers and can't remember how to put the tubes back into the proper locations. Any help would be much appreciated (close ups of the engine compartment would be awesome!)

That's the problem, can't find anyone to do it without the engine bay inspection. Can someone tell me if Racer's Edge Tuning in Downey, California can do a smog check. I plan on taking the L down there to get a new programmer and dyno tune.
To be legal all you should have to do is plumb the connection to the upper plenum to one of the valve cover connections in place of one of the breathers. Then change it back after inspection. This will cause air to get sucked in through one of the breathers on the one valve cover and then get sucked out the other valve cover and into the intake. It's not the complete factory setup but it's easy to do and that's all a legal PCV system needs.
