Help!!! Truck Died

Well guys, came back to work form lunch, Park in my designated area but the realized that I had not gone all the way to the parking stop. So went back in the truck and all I got was a half start then nothing else. No head light, no dash board lights, not even the doors will unlock. I thought it was the chip but it is still snug with the duct tape on it. Do you guys think that it could be the battery? If so I have never seen a battery die so suddenly? Help!! Let me know

OK guys, it was the battery. I have never seen a battery die without any warning. A first in my book, I bought one for $150 and I just change the oil at the same time. I am back on the road again. Thanks for all your input
