Question Removing wax from grey plastic trim

I know this was covered by someone a while back but I searched for it with no luck. I was as careful as I could be waxing my L but there are still a few places where the wax got on the grey plastic trim. Does anyone now how to get that stuff off?

Try a nylon detail's brush, nylon brishels, and about the size of a tooth brush.

Cool

Use Liquid Glass Auto Polish. It doesn't leave any "white" residue on the plastic trim if you get careless. How does it do that? I don't know, and don't care, But I know it works. BTW... no swirl marks on a black L with this product. Great Stuff and made here in good ole Jersey!

You can use Dawn soap and water but you kind of have to work with it, yet this is a very safe way to get it off the plastic; just time consuming.

Hi RedShift,

I found this under the General Care forum. Belive it or not, the search words I used where 'peanut butter', (I have no idea why that stuck in my head this long!).

Thumbs up

Thanks guys! I knew this was discussed before. I'll give some of these ideas a go and let you all know what worked for me.
