If I can do anything to help let me know!

Question

DTopp

Do you know what your A/F ratio was with the N.O.S.
Also did you run in the stock mode of your chip, or do you have a N2O setting?
One last question, what size jet's were used?

Can you tell I'm gett'n ready for N.O.S.

Thanks Kevin

DTopp, did you need anything other than the standard 5115 kit? Was the install straight forward?

Question

Dave,Matt,

Which kit do you have?

N.O.S. #5115-1 or #5115-2

I think the stage 2 is adjustable? Just want to make sure I have the same kit as you guys do

Thanks Kevin

Wink

Kevin,

I have a 5115-2 kit on my '96 Cobra. There are only a few differences b/w it and the Stage 1 kit. The biggest thing the -2 kit gives you is an in-line fuel pump. Matt specifically told me that we do not need that on our truck...at least he's found its unnecessary at the 100hp level.

The other things in the -2 kit are 1) an additional fuel/nitrous jet 2) a .040" shim for the nitrous regulator.

Kevin, you can buy these things for next to nothing. The biggest expense in the upgrade from Stage 1 to Stage 2 is the fuel pump, and if we don't need that, then there is no reason to buy the Stage 2 kit. Just get the Stage 1 kit (which is 75hp) and then buy the appropriate jets to up the shot to 100-150 should you choose to.

I've got the instructions right here in front of me, and that's the only differences in the kits I can see.

Just trying to save you ~$200.

Wes,

Thanks for the clarification on the difference in kits. You DON’T need the fuel pump for sure!

The kit I purchased was the 05115-2 Kit, which was already opened at the performance shop and the fuel pump, was removed. I could only guess it was either used in another application or sent back to NOS for credit.

Once Again Good Luck!

Matt

I just bought the 5115 stage1 kit, with extra jets from Summit for $454 to the door. They wanted $475 for just the kit. I asked if they would price match, Excessive Motorsports has them for $429. E.M. is on a 3 week back order.
So, if you want a good deal call Summit and have them price match. Summit has them in stock, don't forget extra jets
