The Drag Race of the Year Is ON!! Oct. 29th
I was talking to one of my friends on the phone today about Johnny Lightning running a Blistering 8.70 @ 159.10 mph pass Wed. Night & how impressive it was for a Mod motor Lightning. We both agreed Johnny has more in his combo & how bad@ss his truck is going to be when fully dialed in. Johnny Lightning Holds the Track ET. Records for a Lightning @ Cecil County, MIR, & Maple Grove!!!
We also discused the Ultimate Drag race that will probably never happen but a Heads Up, Run What You Brung, .400 Pro Tree Battle between Johnny Lightning's 8 Second Twin Turbo Gen 2 vs My 8 Second 101mm Turbo Gen 1. The Race to decide the Baddest Lightning Truck.
My Gen 1 Lightning holds the Fastest ET. records @ Englishtown & Atco Raceway so something's Got to Give!!
So I decided to call out my buddy Johnny Lightning tonight & discuss Racing Heads Up! him vs me. Johnny said without any hesatation he would love to Race me. He told me that this Won't be hush hush like results from the Lightning magazine ShootOut. We won't be doing any closed quarters Racing but Racing in front of a Crowd, a Big Crowd!!!
We next had to pick a Race track that was Nuetral or Away if you will. Not a Home track for us. Johnny's home track is Cecil County & mine is Atco Raceway. So they are both OUT! Johnny & I really don't care for E-Town much so E-Town is OUT! MIR is too Far away so we finally Decided that Maple Grove will be the track & the Stormin Norman REUNION will be the place!
Bring Your Camera's Boys this will be a very FAST Race!!! Don't blink you may miss it!!!
