Post Ever wonder how much to replace the fog lamp?

On the way to work, running behind another car, it sucked up a green plastic trash can lid; and, SMASH into my front bumper. It scuffed the paint bigtime and broke the passenger side fog lamp. I passed the jackass that didn't secure his load. I felt like running him into the weeds. Lamp cost: $88.25 plus tax.

Our new FAQ's might be able to answer that:

How can I protect the front lamps from stone damage?

Lucite covers are available for the L as well as for the fog lamps. The fog lamp overs are the same as ones listed for Mustang Cobra and the headlight covers are the same as the 99-20000 F-150. They are available in Clear and smoked. The smoked will need to be removed at night for good vision. They are easy to install and remove, less than 5 seconds each.

Fog lamp lens are glass and EASILY broken from rock hits. The Ford replacement cost is around $100 for the pair, but they are available at other locations for about $30. Some have been successful getting free replacements from Ford by printing out the following thread and taking it to the dealership.
