Exclamation

Hey CA,
I am not preaching at all, but I designed the seatbelts. They lock up at the most inopportune(sp?) times, a big pain. I never wore seatbelts in my old trucks, but with the airbags it can be pretty ugly. I've seen hundreds of sled tests and the worst ones are of 5th percentile dummies not buckled up when the bags go off. A 5th percentile is equivellant to a small (short) person, usually associated to females.
Again not preaching, just the facts ma'am.
Take care,
Jim

Collin,
I'll give that a try. I'll let y'all know if it works

Andre,
I would have been in tears. Was that guy crazy?

Jim,
dang, I fall into the 5th percentile...that makes me the short dummie without a seatbelt huh. Can't have that can we?

BBQ,
That was the only upside here. I am always respectful to officers who have the immediate power to haul me off and put my truck on a flat bed.

Thanks again for the advice...

Love
CA

Thumbs up

2-edged sword here. of course you should always wear your seatbelt, but everytime i've been caught of radar, and pulled over, and was not wearing my seat belt, i'd get a seatbelt ticket instead of speeding. if i was buckled up and my only offense was speeding, guess what i was signing? i always treat officers like they are doing their jobs, and they will usually give you some kind of break. so the rule of thumb here is, wear your seat belt for safety, but if the lights are behind you, quickly disconnect and act like CA. be respectful and the puppy dog eyes work for guys too, in the French Quarter and certain parts of San Francisco.
