Anyone know why Autometer has delayed release of the Lunar seriers? And when they are going to be available.

Autometer was supposed to provide more info today (8/1) on their website, but nothing yet.

Cool, sounds like a bunch of you want one of these. Keep in mind that this is a full pillar replacement, not a tack on pod. If there is enough interest, maybe he'll do a batch of 2 and 3 hole versions. I believe they will come color matched and have the same "texture pattern" as the stock interior. I'll leave them another email expressing the interest that has been generated here. Sounds like they'll be in the $40-50 range, not bad at all.

how about a passenger side pillar pod for the navigator/co-pilot. with a windspeed/direction gauge, a barometric pressure gauge, relative humidity gauge. they could advise us as to weather conditions, and how to approach the "shot" like a caddy, then you throw them out and race.

The guy you should speak with at Lotek is Lyle. I had arranged the group purchase for some 2 5/8 guage pod pillars for the Syclone & Typhoon guys. His work is the best available and the color and texture matches the stock plastic. My suggestion is get a 3 pod pillar and not a 2 pod considering the size of the Lightning's pillar.

I was going to suggest this myself, but it is something I didn't have time for right now so I didn't. Glad to see someone else is going to though!

Pacecar18, I have been in touch with Lyle and here is the response:

Dan,

We have this application in the works. The mold is complete and ETA on
finished product is 2 to 3 weeks. Stay tuned.

Sounds like it is just a matter of time now!! I am just not sure if the mold is for 2 or 3 gauges.

I would not mind one also. Keep us informed on the progress. A 3-hole one would be best.
