FOR ALFADOGGY OR ANYONE THAT KNOWS
Alfadoggy,
I noticed that in one of your responses to a recent post, you mentioned taking the L back and let the dealer put it on his computer and make certain changes. Well my dealer says that cannot be done, he can only tell what it is set at but cannot make a change. Of course this is the same dealer that can't, won't fix the clunk either. But I got that figured out. just keep rotating the tire till they do and the tire bill will be far greater than any clunk fix would have been. so the question is can indeed a change in the computer be made and if so maybe i can find another dealer. it is hell to have to drive 125 miles to the next svt dealer when i work next door to the one here in tallahassee. i love the truck, love fords, have purchased four new ones in the last 5 years and still can't get decent service. shame shame.
Thanks,
BEARIT

Your dealer is feeding you total B.S. There are plenty of Ford techs on this board who can explain what a dealer can or cannot do in terms of reprogramming the EECU. There have been plenty of posts relating to this topic on this board, I suggest you do a search on dealer service, etc.
Addendum: I did a search, and here is one thread of many that might address some of your concerns" https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000688.html
