stir-crazy!
Many companies want you to come back as soon as possible to cut their workers comp claims and insurance cost. Many will give the hurt employee a soft job at their regular pay just to reduce the workers comp cost. I've seen guys come to work on crutches and all they could do was punch in and out but the company paid them full pay to stop the workers comp. Ask your boss. Beats what you get on workers comp and helps your company too. I had a guy do that that worked for me. I paid him full pay until he came back when he want to. He never filed for comp.
Hope you get better soon.

Ouch. It'll be okay after a while, though. You'll get used to it. A buddy of mine's dad got the finger ripped off in a cotton gin a few years back, but can do anything short of giving someone the rod.
Feel better.

Hey Great pictures.
It makes me miss my offshore rig days. All of us righands have them damn nubbs out there. Hell, that's why god gave us so many of those sticking out things on our hands. It gives us more than one chance to learn where not to put them. It gives us something to stick in the kids faces as they heal. And it helps us learn to how to count in fractions.
But look at the good side, it's always that long ole middle finger that pokes through that cheap toilet paper and now you don't have to worry about that!
Take care and be careful for the next few months because no one will give you any sympathy if rip off another one until the last one is healed.
Good Luck,
Alvin
