My friend used to have a Cobra with the mach 460 and the stereo seemed very good. I had another friend with an SVT Contour and the stereo in that car sucked. How good is the stock stereo in the L?

It all depends on who you are talking to. For some stock is great, more me I changed out the speakers and added a small amp, for others I have noticed they have spent $1,000's.

Add an amp and speakers and it's great!

 

Who need a stereo, when you gota lovely Eaton singing its heart out?

 

You can make quite a difference in sound with a $1000.00+ but a couple of hundred for new speakers is a good place to start.

I have a Cobra with the mach 460, and one of
the first things I noticed when checking out the L is that they did not put the same system in as the Cobras got.

 

is it atleast better than the svt contour?
