01-04 Whipple !!

well im looking into replacing my stock s/c and wondering what is the best replacment to go with. I have been looking at the polished whipple version and wonder if anybody has some input on its BANG for the buck.

Is the price worth the upgrade or is there something better out there??

ill chime in for this.. my truck prior to the Whipple made 500hp/600tq, that was with a 6# lower 2.7 upper, C&L plenum ported bloer cams etc.. it was running 16deg. timing and 16PSI.. with the Whipple im running a 3.375 upper and a 4# lower, 14deg. timing and 14PSI making 538hp/602tq.. making more power with less.. i think it is a great choice to buy a Whipple.. and im still on my stock block.. good luck with your choice..

Man those are some SERIOUS numbers on the stock block. How many miles do you have on her with that amount of power & boost?

You see 14psi with the 3.375 upper and 4 lower? You must have a serious cam because I see 15psi with a 3.375 upper and a 2 lower. Great numbers though.

I have a 6# lower with the 3.375 upper and hit 14.5 at tip in building to 16 psi by 4800 rpm. Stock long block. 519/599 @ 14 degrees and pig rich.
