On our intake plenums is there a required amount of distance that the MAF meter need to be from the throttle body?
Also how large of a tube diameter must we have?
Is there such a thing as to big for the throttle body?
What if I was to put a large tee in front of the throttle body and draw air from two sources?

Suavy- To my knowledge there is no minimum distance required from the T.B. to the MAF. The intake tube diameter should be at least the same as the MAF and to the T.B. at the other end. it does not have to be the same on both ends.Yes you can have a T.B. that is too big. An oversized TB will impede drivability at the lower and midrange and many times not even help on the higher rpm range. Its sort of like putting in valves that are too large. Lastly I would not use the intake tube for a constant vacuum source as the vacuum is always changing...unless thats what you want.

There is a recommended distance from MAF to throttle. Unfortunately, I don't remember what it is. Upstream flow disturbances from the throttle can mess with MAF readings.
Drawing air from 2 sources can be problematic. The Ford GT had prototype issues. If you look at their filter housing, it draws from 2 sides. They were getting stalls in cross-winds. That's not to say it won't work (the GT problem was obviously solved).

Suavy when you say put a Tee in front of the throttle body and draw air from two sources? are we talking UN-metered air ? or we talking TB then Maf then Tee ?
As long as the Air is being Metered you can have it coming in from anywhere (and as many places) as your heart desires.
With the JLP Set up you got air coming in from 4 differant locations
(2) 3" inlet's on the bottom of the box, (1) fender inlet on the side of the box,
and of course The Open Top of the Box.
Yes there might me recommendation on the Maf Location, but the bottom line is you can put it anywhere you want as long as it works....
I had (4) Mafs and tried numerous locations with the Stang when I put the Procharger on it. Some use the Maf as a Draw Through, some as a Blow Through, some put it in the Fender, (I wont), some put it before the Supercharger, some put it after. The main rule seems to be NO SHARP BENDS right before, OR AFTER the Maf. As far as location goes, pretty much anything goes..... (amof mine is where IT SHOULDNT BE, and works perfect)
The Stang Boys told me 10" - 12" of straight pipe before and after (minimum)
I tried it closer to a turn and did have problems.
Using a L Maf as a Blow Through (I'm using a 90mm L Maf like that) does sometimes mean having to "turn it" in a certain position to dial it in, I had to...
And oh ya, DID YOU SAY 100MM TB
