I can tell you that you will have a much harder time with the NSX than you did with his Porche. Any predictions about your times for tomorrow? A new personal best maybe?

Looking at my Times from the last trip to Denton to the first one. I cut almost .5 sec of the time. I am still debating whether to take your tires.... Everyone else seems to run good on stock tires. As always I am hopeful to set a new best. As far as the NSX when he brings it out in a couple weeks we'll see

I dont think it will be a problem

I'll have to pass. Gotta take the wife out for her birthday. Can you believe that, spousal birthday over racing? Doug, are you or Autothrottle going to SVT On Track?

Well I'm not a Lightning owner, but was just about to post a topic on this. Just an FYI for those of you who enjoy the strip the last night for drag night is Sept 22. So y'all might want to think making a trip. I'll be out tonight, but I'll be in the stands with a couple of ice cold tasty beverages.

Doug, no need to wait for an invite. Call 888-534-2099 (you'll need your VIN) and they can register you over the phone. Dennis and I are both registered for the Saturday morning session.

Hey Doug,

If your truck is running right then you won't have a problem with a stock '91 NSX. That thing _might_ run 13.8s in this heat. My Cobra runs 13.4s on motor and will hammer a stock NSX...at least in a straight line.

I'll catch up with you guys at the track someday. 5 years ago, I was there every Fri night. Now, I get out there a couple of times a year.

Tentatively, I'm planning on taking my Cobra and L to the Hallsville event on Sept. 16th when the HALO club comes up. Hope some of the other DFW guys can make that. Awesome track and hopefully the temps will be in the 80s.
