has anybody reduced there e/ts with a 160 degree thermostat in a 99/00 L? if you have would you please post it .thanks

 

IB there was some good discussion awhile back, including input from several techs about changing to a 160 thermostat. Try a search on subject only and see if you can pick it up. Otherwise you will have to search all. I don't believe it helped much in 1/4 times or everyone would be putting them in; however cooling of the intercooler fluid is producting better times. This has been accomplished by installing a switch on the intercooler pump which was detailed by Lightning Tuner here and fans for the intercooler radiator.
