Floor Shifter

Hello everyone-Just wondering if anyone has successfully done a conversion from column shift to floor shift? How much is involved with this? I have seen the floor shift in the newer F150s & it looks pretty nice. Thanks for your help.

I've seen one guy that did the 05+ swap on his Gen 2. Looked pretty involved.

In my opinion there no real gain in performance, so why? The process does appear to be involved, I think I'd mod a current generation, 2 wheel drive F150 with a blower, exhaust ect. add a body kit and handling package and avoid a costly upgrade that would hurt resale.

A column mounted shifter makes more sense on a Gen II. The console, if any, is too far down.

If you want to make a real change put a Tremec 6speed. The standard parts (pedals...) fit right in. Its been done. Just need a school bus handle to finish it off.

Track Beast sounds like you have experience riding in those little yellow busses.

Only the short ones. Safety comes first and that's why I wear my hockey helmet every day.
