Cool YEA OF LITTLE FAITH

Track conditions were Ideal at NORWALK 7/15/00 FUN FORD WEEK END Iwas the first truck to make a pass after the PRO 50 cars ran on new glue. I hit it extra hard which would make it go up in smoke most of the time. But it held and launched like in the butt.1.674 60 ft. 12.978 et. at 103.mph. To back this up 7/22 the FORD SUPERFEST event MILAN dragway a knowen slick track whith no glue CASPER ran 1.829 60 ft. 13.06 et. at105.86 mph. PS. to the uncaled for remark. YOU MAY BE DOING WRONG.

Casper -

I don't think I have seen any better 60' times posted. You must be like a "Holy Ghost" or something.

Question

Jerry,
I would love to know if this was done without any type of traction bar.You must understand that this is very hard to believe with stock rubber. I have spoken to you numerous times at events and you seem to be an honest guy.... This board is like a family, fill us in on the details...air pressure? Launch R.P.M.? What weight did you make these runs at? If theres many doing wrong...tell us the secret I would love to have a 1.6? 60' with my Mickey Thompson's Drag slicks, I/m sure I speak for others also. In not doubting, just curious.

If this is true, then throw some skinnies on the front, repeat that 1.6? 60'and yank that front end off the ground!!

Do we plan on seeing your SVT at NORWALK in September?

If there is going to be a Lightning with stock tires pulling 1.6 to 1.8 60 foot times, I guess its vacation time again for me. I would JUST love to see this first hand and maybe just learn something in the meantime. So just one question, Whens Nowalk and how do I get there??
