Everyone,

For those with mucho 1/4 & 1/8 experience, how much is lowering or removing the tailgate worth on both 1/8 & 1/4 times???

Also, what about the spare???1/8 & 1/4??

While I like to run in true "street" trim, am I missing alot less et because of it???

From what has been posted in the past, lowering the tailgate showed no gains.

I don't think this statement has changed.

I alway run with the tailgate down. As for removing the hitch & spare they are good for about 50 pounds each; however they are also good ballast as they are at the rear. Whether or not this will adversely affect traction has not been reported here to my knowledge.
