Quite a problem :{

Ok guys got a few problems, first off i justg to all new spark plugs because my old ones were causing a misfire and my truck ran fine for about 3 days........and then i got in it one mourning and as i was drivin to school i stopped at a red light and it just dies, well i crank it up and when i hit accelerator the RPMs rev way up with no speeding up at all before a real rough shift. after i got it up and goin around 40 MPH it was fine. Only time i have problem is from a start and tryin to keep it from diein. Its a 99 ford lightning with 44k miles on it. I already got a new IAC and that didnt help nething....................suggestions?

bad coil pack? fuel filter? A good place to start would be to go to autozone and grab a diagnostic scanner and see if anything pops up there.

Have you checked to see if one of your coil pack plugs has come un connected or a fuel injector plug?

You could have fried a plug also,

Also check the plug to your MAF meter

God Bless,

Suavy
