New lightning

Whats up guys. If I can sell my truck by the first of the year I will be the proud owner of a 2003 lightning with less then 4500 miles. This truck is better then new, it doen't have one dent, paint chip or scratch this truck is flawless. It has chrome lightning wheels and has been lowered to make it sit perfectly level. Steigmeier did the blower porting, the Plenum has been extrude honed and it has a single blade throttle body with a Airaid Cold air intake. The stock blower, Plenum, throttle body, and air cleaner come with the truck as well. Danny Swanson in Torrance, Cali did the tuning, it has a Diablo tuner. The exhaust is stock. The lightning makes 409rwhp and 491 rwtq. I forgot he said it has a 100mm pulley as well. I'm not sure but I would think the truck should be making more power then what it is? Let me know what you guys think.

The mods you have listed won't do much for power. It also has a lower pulley that you didn't list in your description.

New 03

Hey, did you get this truck? I assume it is from the same guy in California that I talked to. I was to buy this truck in May. A few days before I bought the plane tickets to go get it, he told me he changed his mind and did not want to sell. I went to LasVegas and bought a silver 04 with 14k miles instead. Kern seemed like a real nice guy, he emailed me several times after I bought my truck. We just never seemed to hook up. He sent me some pics of the truck and you are right, it is flawless. He also had a bag full of parts for it nib. Probably too nice of a truck for me. I drive mine everyday and love it. This is the second L I have owned and wish they were still making them. Anyway, good luck with your purchase.

No I have not bought the truck yet, I'm still trying to sell my truck. Kern seems like a very nice guy. I don't have to worry about him changing his mind on me because I gave him a small deposit. This truck is to good of a deal to let it slip away, I just hope I can sell my truck. What was his asking price when you were looking at it?

New Lightning

He had it advertised for sale on here for $25k. He was to include all original parts and an extra seat that he had gotten so he did not wear out the original one. Not much chance of that since it has only seen 4100 miles and it is an 03. One thing is for sure, he spent a ton of money on that truck. I was kind of thinking that is why he decided not to sell. His original ad said the truck was stock and he later told me he had planned to return it to stock to sell. The last email I got from him stated he was going to take all the performance stuff off and sell it. I guess he never got around to that. At any rate, post here when you get the truck and let me know how it went. Good luck.
