it looks to me like i can come and race with you guys saturday night? do i just need to show up? i see "drag tech inspection" is in the morning. does that mean if i want to race that night i have to show up in the morning to get teched?

anyone want to line em up?

Seriously, if you want to bring a highly modified 9 sec chevy, you cant expect to race a bolt on L. You'd have to go up against the big guns who probably wont be there due to the distance.

 

I say let him run...who cares if he's going to spank 99% of the L's there! If Parish has the nuts to show up and some of the L guys have the nuts to line up against him then let it rip.

 

I'd flat out welcome you! You have one monster of a truck! Please take it easy on us "L" guys.

Who cares if he shows up. I just like to see stuff that is fast. I don't care who makes it (ford, dodge, chevy, etc). Even though I'm not going it would be great to see him run.

 

I miss all the big meets being in Hawaii. Parish has a sweet fu(king truck.

thanks for the props guys. i did nearly all of the work on the twins myslef. from the headers to the charge pipes. i am happy so far with the durability and performance at a moderate level. i am about to turn it up and see if it work well at higher hp levels. we put 2300 miles and 40 track passes on the truck last week at dragweek with the only problem being a blown fuse. can't hardy beat that. i even won the 11.0 class with an average for the week of 11.0004. did the entire week on pump gas, thru exhaust and on stock firejunk tires.

now the nittos are back on. cut out's are welded in and uncaped and i have some race gas on hand for when i start to see some knock. if it wasn't raining right now i would be out doing a little tuning geting ready for saturday but it isn't looking good. might just have to wait for the track to turn it up. i hope kc isn't too busy on saturday.

i will race anyone that shows up. if JL makes it he will kill me but it would be fun. last time over a scale put me at 5024lb's, isn't he around 3000? i thought there were several low 10sec gen2's that aren't race cars. wont any of them guys be there?

 

I would love to see a street truck matchup! I don't know if Dave London is going, but he is the quickest street truck so far. That would be a great matchup.

Theres plenty of low 10 sec L's, wethere they'll be there or not i dont know. JL will not be there. Isnt your truck in the 9's?

 

best run last year was 10.08 pushing it prety hard. so far this year with the twins my best run is 10.48 not pushing it. i was concentrating on making dragweek. now that is done i can start turning it up.

 

I'd love to see a true street truck shoot-out. Id also like to run that twin turbo L now owned by aka Falstaff. You have a slick ride Parish goodluck on turning it up.
