Of those who have installed the kit, I would like to get your opinion on this kit? Is it a quality made kit? Is there a noticible improvement in overall seat-of-the-pants feel and what kind of ET reduction can I expect? Will it work with a Airaid kit? Lastly whats the price of this kit?

I ordered it on fri. and should be recieving in about 2 weeks. If you would like to wait that long I will post my findings. The kit comes in three diff. stages. you need to ask him for pricing. I can't remember all of them.
It looks like a good kit. I'll let you know..

By chance did you recieve the kit?
I got mine yesterday. I went out there to do the install and what do I see but mt intercooler level has droped about 2 inches in the last week. So I can't do the install yet. Do you have any input on the kit yet?
This is a sad day, I was all exited about the kit but now.....................

How many miles are on your truck autothrottle?

 

I've got 7600 miles on it. I go in next week for the temp. fixes as they say.
star wash for the clunk
and dye check\ replacement of intercooler
until they get the new intercooler out.

Dan here-Recieved my JohnnyLightning Ram Air Kit today and installed it. Took about 1-1 1/2 hours. It is a VERY PROFESSIONAL KIT. Top quality parts used throughout. and NO THIS IS NOT A PAID TESTIMONIAL, either.
I am just very impressed with the kit and EASE OF INSTALLATION !!!
I'll be testing this kit at Test & Tune Wed. or Fri and will post results.

Hey Guys, Yesterday me and a friend took a trip up to see JOHNNYLIGHTNING. I must say, it did not take much time to install the ramair kit. The quality of the kit is great, very sharp. I was not going to reply to this until after we did some testing on Saturday, but I couldnt wait....

On the way home it was late, highways were clear, So I figure Let's do some testing. From a cruising speed on around 60, I just punched it, and to my amazement the beast took off rather quickly. I thought to myself, Is the chip in race mode? nope still in stock mode NO help from chip . She was pulling really really strong. So, being a good tester like I am, I had to do this another few times. My conclusions is, this kit is helping, very much so. Where it normally took forever to climb to 140, it now was taking half that time. Honestly, those that know me, know I dont BS anyone. But I cant begin to say how impressed I am with this kit, I was not expecting such a big difference in acceleration at highway speeds.
My final conclusion is, this kit is AWESOME.It just pulls through the R.P.M.'s so much quicker .Anyone knows, you climb through the R's quicker, you're doing somrthing right. Yes, me and JOHNNY are good friends,but like I said " I would not Bull***** anyone. I am looking for good times with the right weather. I will also not be scared to predict a .2 tenth gain at the strip. Lets hope for awesome weather on Saturday...I would love to hit a 12.5? as always, I will keep you guys posted
