PRO-M MAF FROM ANDERSON FORD
Just ordered the Pro-m MAF from Anderson ford. I paid extra to get a 12" power stack filter that they had custom made to fit the pro-m. They said on the dyno's they were averaging about 15-20 rwhp. I hope that is true. One thing puzzled me, they said to lay the ACT sensor beside the filter. That does not sound like a good place to put it. Is there a better and safer place to place that sensor?

By the way I have a brand new PSP filter kit with the outerwear that has never been out of the box that I may sale if I like the looks of this new setup.

you'll have to extend the wiring and put it
thru the center of the filter at the tip.
just make a hole the same that is on the stock box in the rubber,it works just fine
put a little silicone around the base of sensor it stay's in there good!did it to mine
and it's still tight after a couple of months

As MRBBQMAN said, "put it where it belongs"...I agree that you should mount it in the airflow. It causes timing to be advanced or retarded based on the temperature of the air it monitors. It's better to have it in the filter because ambient underhood air temps are almost certainly going to be higher than the actual intake airflow, so you should get more(proper)timing. I lengthened my wires and put it in the end also. Get a longer length of the black plastic wire loom and you can hide your work and it'll look stock.....well, KINDA stock
