why??

i have a 2000 lightning and i was wondering why did the cruise control buttons melt on my steering wheel??? (only the ones on the right) they didnt melt completely off, but they did melt...

since i got a new truck i havent really been driveing my lightning at all for the past months and its just parked there, and today i got in it and they were melted.

Did you have the cruise recall done? If not do it right away, and bring up the cruise control buttons melting.
Are you in Brownsville, TN?

no i recently found that out today about these things burning to the ground. i bout my lightning used from a guy, not the dealership. so i didnt get anything in the mail. and no im in Brownsville Texas
