Don't get to participate on the board much anymore...on the road too much. Have "missed out" on the fireworks that seem to have been taking place.
Anyway, I had Flowmaster Deltaflow 40's installed last time I was home. Happy with the results overall. No harmonics at all. Quieter at idle than I expected, but when you stand on it, they let you they are there. They're not as throaty as the ones I have on my Fairlane but it has a 428FE in it.
I will probably do the filter/chip upgrades in the near future.
By the way, I see a post with a Vette kill. Don't get your hopes up guys, I own both (99 Lightning/2000 Vette) and the Vette will "daylight" the Lightning every time.

 

That's not been my experience; I got one by .01 just a few weeks ago. But, I have a 2000 L

 

I also have a 2000 L and had a '98 vette. The vette was definately quicker than my stock L. Now, however, it would be an interesting race. All I have is the new Superchip CUX2 and am awaiting a filter setup. Once my exhaust mods are done, I really think the L will take the vette handily, at least in the short blast.
