Is anyone running the Hoosier 28x11.5-16 Quick Time Pro on an 8" rim?

For the 16"? Jegs has it listed as a 10" for the 16, and an 8" for the 15. Just want to make sure I can run this tire on an 8" without problems.

Are they the 28x11.5-16s on 16x8s? Can you e-mail me more info and maybe pics? powersurgeperf@aol.com

EDIT: Actually the rims are no good for me, this isn't for a Lightning. But I'd be interested in the tires maybe if you want to break them up.

Sal, I would not use those rims. I have the same exact tires and first installed them on 8" wide rims. The foot of the tire will bow up to the rim, and your burnouts will only show the middle of the tire getting any traction. I had to later go with 10" wide rims.

i agree, unless your psi is really really low, you'll wear out the centers and possibly have less traction. it's doable, but probably not advisable. those exact tires (i've been through 2 sets) have this crazy round roll to them. i wore out my centers even on the 10" rims but i run a lot of psi. now on MT ET streets (16x11.5x28) which seems to have a nicer tread contact patch @ 16lbs.
