Cool Group buy on 747 wings and things

I was talking with Boeing the other day and they informed me of alot of left over wings that could be intalled on the Lightnings.they are a tad large but would be great for the down force at the end of the 1320 .Anybody interested,The price will be $78,000 including lots of stickers for your windows............ I could not help my self.

I'm in, but only if I get the 747 tail/rudder set-up with it. :-)

Thumbs down

Are you out of your freaking mind? The 747 wings have the wrong aspect ratio for a Lightning, they are suitable only for an Excursion. However, if you can find a good buy on an F-15 wing please advise, I would be in on that one.

The wings are a little tough on the competition at the strip. It seems there have been some silly complaints about obstructions and things. They always have excuses...

What we really need are P-51 wings. There shorter, hold fuel, and as an added bonus, three 50 caliber machine guns in each wing, great for those road hogs in the left lane.

Cool

Doesn't all that lift create a traction problem?

Depends on where you place the wing. Most erroneously go for the rear end placement. I, for one, have mine welded to the hood. And with flaps fully extended the wheelies are forever..

Chris, you silly boy, you mount the wings inverted on your truck. You get so much downforce that above 80 kts you can run on the ceiling.

I wouldn't be interested in a group buy on the wings........BUT if a group buy on the jet engine,if it could be mounted in the bed!

Are the fuel cells included? I've always wanted a bigger gas tank like the Gen Is.
